Valentina Papiri Bray RAD RTS - Principal, Ballet and Tap Teacher

Valentina trained at the Urdang Academy of Performing Arts in Covent Garden, London.

She previously trained in her native country, Italy, at the Centro Danza La Sylphide in Rome, where she studied Ballet, Jazz (Lyrical and Street), Contemporary, Tap, Singing, Acting, Voice, Musical Theatre, Salsa and Ballroom.

Her credits include dancing in numerous shows and musicals in Italy and performing on a TV show. In 2002 she became dance captain and choreographer assistant with the Preziosa Dance Company.
She has also performed and modelled in many fashion shows, including the Broad Street Mall Fashion Show in Reading.

She started teaching Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap and Salsa in 1998 and became a qualified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance in 2001.

​Since then she has been enjoying working as a teacher in a number of prestigious schools in Rome, London and Reading. She started Dancercise in 2009.


Caroline McCreight Ballet and Tap Teacher

Caroline joined the Dancercise team at the beginning of 2011.

She trained at the Susan Pheby School of Dance and Performing Arts and then at the Dartington College of Arts and Towson University, Baltimore, where she graduated with a BA Hons Choreography Degree in June 2009.

Since graduating, she has been teaching dance in many primary and dance schools, helping pupils develop their talent and passing on her love and passion for dance. She has also worked as a dancer and entertainer in Rhodes, Greece, and took part in the pantomime Mother Goose at the Hexagon Theatre in Reading.

She has qualified teacher status with the International Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).

Bethany Bianga Hip Hop Teacher

Bethany started ballet & tap dancing at the age 3 and then at 8 year old discovered street dance which has been her passion ever since.

She has been lucky enough to perform at many theatres such as London Palladium, The Shaftsbury Theatre, The Hexagon, High Wycombe Swan and many smaller ones.

In 2005 Bethany and her dance crew won the UK HIP HOP  Championships which allowed them to go to Los Angeles to represent the UK in the World HIP HOP Championships. This is an experience which taught her a lot and one she shall never forget.

Bethany also loves to sing. She has performed in various shows and in 2010 came 3rd in the ‘Has Reading Got Talent’ Finals, competition. Bethany has been teaching dance and singing in various dance schools and primary schools for over 3 years now.

Sonia Brown Street Dance, Ballet and Tap Teacher

Sonia trained at Bird College and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she gained a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.
​
Since graduating, she has toured the UK performing in Pantomimes and has completed a 7 month long contract performing a solo show in Spain.

​She has choreographed and performed in a musical for the Edinburgh Fringe 2016.

Sonia has also recently been performing for Beautiful Creatures Theatre company alongside teaching for various Reading-based dance schools.


Assistant Teachers

All of our Assistant Teachers are very talented dancers and senior students who understand the type of dancing environment we believe in at Dancercise. They enjoy teaching children of all ages and have a genuine interest in helping the pupils make the most of their time with Dancercise.
