Valentina Papiri Bray RAD RTS
Principal

Valentina trained at the Urdang Academy of Performing Arts in Covent Garden, London.
She previously trained in her native country, Italy, at the Centro Danza La Sylphide in Rome, where she studied Ballet, Jazz (Lyrical and Street), Contemporary, Tap, Singing, Acting, Voice, Musical Theatre, Salsa and Ballroom.
Her credits include dancing in numerous shows and musicals in Italy and performing on a TV show. In 2002 she became dance captain and choreographer assistant with the Preziosa Dance Company.
She has also performed and modelled in many fashion shows, including the Broad Street Mall Fashion Show in Reading.
She started teaching Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap and Salsa in 1998 and became a qualified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance in 2001.
Since then she has been enjoying working as a teacher in a number of prestigious schools in Rome, London and Reading. She started Dancercise in 2009.

Chloe Shepherd
Ballet and Tap Teacher

Chloe Emily graduated from the University of Chichester in 2018 where she trained in Musical Theatre and is lucky enough to work across all fields of theatre from performing to production.
Her credits in Performing Include: Girls Like That (Student), Jack And The Beanstalk - West Midlands Tour (Lucy), Legoland Windsor Resort (Entertainer) Double Acts: The Queens Speech ( Mabel Nesbit) Lucky Stiff (Spinster/Featured Ensemble) High School Musical (Martha Cox) On The Town (The Little Old Lady/Assistant Choreographer), Beyond Wonderland(Circus Troupe), The Wonderful World of Dissocia (Saxophonist) and Carousel(featured Ensemble)
Chloe Emily has taught all over the South of England, teaching all three performing disciplines from Street Dance to Singing to Devising Acting pieces to Musical Theatre.
Her credits in Choreographing Include: High School Musical, Bare: A Pop Opera , Dogfight , Chicago High School Edition, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Lucky Stiff and On The Town.
Her credits in Production: The Pirate Queen Charity Gala Performance (Assistant Stage Manager) My favourite Summer ( Stage Manager), Gareth and Friends at the Cockpit ( Assistant Stage Manager).
This Christmas Chloe will be Production Manager for Jack and The Beanstalk in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.

Laura Morgan

Ballet & Tap, Street Dance Teacher

Laura started dancing when she was two years old and have since trained with Tring Park and English National Ballet. She then went to train at Laine Theatre Arts where she graduated with a diploma in Professional dance.
Throughout her training Laura have had many performing opportunities including the Main Stage at Move It with the English National Ballet and at the Royal Albert Hall at the Dance Proms. When she was younger she was a part of the junior cast in Reading’s Pantomime for five years.
Laura has a big passion for teaching and has been teaching for as long as she can remember! Her first memory of teaching was assisting baby ballet classes when she was just ten years old. Laura fell in love and ever since she has worked hard to become the best possible teacher she can, constantly finding new ways to improve and inspire the next generation of dancers.

Sonia Brown
Street Dance, Ballet and Tap Teacher

Sonia trained at Bird College and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she gained a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.
Since graduating, she has toured the UK performing in Pantomimes and has completed a 7 month long contract performing a solo show in Spain.
She has choreographed and performed in a musical for the Edinburgh Fringe 2016.
Sonia has also recently been performing for Beautiful Creatures Theatre company alongside teaching for various Reading-based dance schools.
Since graduating, she has toured the UK performing in Pantomimes and has completed a 7 month long contract performing a solo show in Spain.

Assistant Teachers
All of our Assistant Teachers are very talented dancers and senior students who understand the type of dancing environment we believe in at Dancercise. They enjoy teaching children of all ages and have a genuine interest in helping the pupils make the most of their time with Dancercise.
